Farewell to All…
Well in 24 hours I shall be on a plane heading towards Japan. I just have to take a quick trip to the bank and pack a few more essentials and off I go. So I guess this will be my last post for a few weeks. What will you possibly do for entertainment once I’m gone? Haha. Actually it seems while I’m away, everyone has a great time and I miss out. Or rather I’m off having my own fun somewhere and the crew in SD doesn’t stop for anything. Hardcore 24. I wouldn't have it any other way. Well we could always use more hot girls but anyway. Well I promise to bring back lots of pics, a bunch of new stories, and ton of memories. See everyone in about 3 weeks! Later.

Final Preparations…
Yesterday I went to the travel agency and picked up my actual ticket to Japan and sitting there, holding it in my hand, it finally started to sink in that I’m actually going to do this. I had been talking about it for so long, and now the moment is almost upon me. Often, people talk about doing things and ultimately fail to follow through given the opportunity. I’ll be the first to admit that it’s a trap I’ve fallen in more than once. But in this particular situation, I forced my words into fruition. I told so many people I was going I had to follow through or end up being a complete flake even though I’d be the only person being flaked on. Well Ted too I suppose. And I know in the scheme of things, it’s not that monumental of an event, but I guess to someone who’s never been on a flight longer than an hour and never been abroad, it seems so. It is disappointing that I will be making the 12 hour journey by my lonesome and that I won’t get a chance to see Charlie while in Japan because his break doesn’t start till some time in March, but I guess no trip is perfect and at least this way there will be less witnesses to whatever should happen to transpire while I’m overseas. There will of course be my trusty digicam which I will try extremely hard not to lose. But of course those images will be filtered, probably heavily, before I post them online. Heh. Now the only thing left to do is to pack. In one week I’ll be in Japan. Damn I’m so excited! w00h00.

Sick but Still Alive...
Well I’m still alive and I thought while I take a little break from work for a few minutes, I might as well update my site and let everyone know what’s been going on with me. Upon returning from two incredible days of snowboarding in Tahoe last week, or perhaps a more accurate statement would be during the course of, I contracted a rather nasty and quite persistent strain of the flu. Now normally when sick, I simply take a few pills and move on with my life. This virus however knocked me flat on my ass. I missed the first two days of work last week while I was at home, immobile with fever, body aches, and a whole host of other delightful ailments. I had forgotten how much I hate being sick and it couldn’t have happened at a more inopportune time, with all my deadlines coming to a close right before I leave for Japan. The worse part of all is that it utterly derailed my daily routine. I haven’t worked out in what seems like forever and while at work, my efficiency has slipped drastically. The effort to think is like running the 100m dash through knee-deep mud. But I am finally on the road toward recovery, though my mind is still a bit cloudy. That’s probably while this post seems so fragmented. While my mental celerity isn’t quite up to par with a normal healthy me, it’ll have to do. I’m behind schedule and quickly running out of time. Anyway, more later.
